Out-of-court dispute settlement

User rights under Art. 21 of EU Reg. 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act).

When it applies

If you have filed an internal complaint through our complaint-handling system against a moderation decision (content removal, account restriction or suspension) and the outcome does not satisfy you, you have the right to turn to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body recognised by the Digital Services Coordinator of the Member State where you are established or reside.

The procedure is an alternative to court proceedings and does not affect your right to bring the matter before a judicial authority.

Certified bodies

The up-to-date list of bodies certified under Art. 21 DSA is published by the European Commission on the official portal:

For disputes based in Italy, the Digital Services Coordinator is the Communications Regulatory Authority (AGCom), which publishes the bodies certified at national level.

How to start the procedure

  1. Exhaust the internal complaint by filing it within 6 months of the moderation decision through the dedicated account page.
  2. Once you have received the final outcome of the internal complaint, choose a certified body from the list published by the European Commission.
  3. Follow the body's instructions for submitting the dispute (procedure, deadlines, any costs).
  4. The body will notify Dexoverse of the mediation request.

Dexoverse's participation

Under Art. 21 § 2 of EU Reg. 2022/2065, Dexoverse is not obliged to accept to engage with a given body. We assess each case individually and undertake to communicate our decision with reasons and without delay.

Decisions of out-of-court dispute settlement bodies are not binding, but Dexoverse undertakes to take them into account in good faith.
